LAS VEGAS—EHR vendor InterSystems has debuted today at HIMSS25 IntelliCare, an AI-powered electronic health record and healthcare information system designed to change the way clinicians, administrators and patients engage with healthcare technology.

The AI capabilities are intended to deliver streamlined workflows, reduced administrative burden, enhanced patient interactions and improved operational efficiency while maintaining rigorous human oversight for accuracy and safety, the company said.

Built on InterSystems’ TrakCare EHR, IntelliCare is aimed at health systems undergoing rapid digital transformation and seeking modern, connected systems without the constraints of legacy technologies.

“IntelliCare represents the next step in the evolution of EHRs,” stated Don Woodlock, head of global healthcare solutions at InterSystems. “By building an EHR solution with AI at its core, we’re helping healthcare providers focus on what matters: More face time with patients and less screen time.”

InterSystems is in Booth 2032 at HIMSS25. IntelliCare is meant to streamline the EHR experience by integrating AI-driven intelligence across clinical, administrative and financial workflows.

The company said health systems using IntelliCare can benefit from: generative AI that eliminates administrative inefficiencies; an AI assistant that enables natural language commands and automatic patient history summarization; real-time capture and generation of encounter notes powered by ambient listening; AI that prepopulates the codes required for billing within the revenue cycle management system; and on-premises, cloud or SaaS deployment.
