Are you becoming RoboCop?
Welcome to another weekend of gaming! This week on Xbox has definitely been headlined by the addition of RoboCop: Rogue City to the Game Pass library – we’d imagine plenty of you who’ve managed to resist the game’s various discounts in recent weeks will be jumping into that one!
Here’s what we’re playing over the next few days:

Well, my PlayStation Plus expired recently and I never got around to trying RoboCop over there – so now’s my chance on Xbox Game Pass! This looks like a proper old school shooter in every sense, with that fresh coat of Unreal Engine 5 powered paint slapped on top. Now’s definitely the time to finally get stuck into the Rogue City adventure.
Elsewhere, I recently picked up a cheap copy of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury on Nintendo Switch, so I might wipe the dust off that thing to at least try out the Bowser expansion. I grabbed this one for when I eventually get a Switch 2 system, but there’s no harm in having a quick go first, right? I’ll see how I get on with this one.

I’ve been having a look at the Xbox Summer Sale and trying to figure out what to buy – the two games on my list at the moment are Death Stranding Director’s Cut and the 2024 remaster of LEGO Harry Potter. I’ll probably buy the latter first as I’ve never owned that game before, so now is finally the time to hop on board the Hogwarts Express!
Beyond that, I’ve been playing some AEW: Fight Forever recently so that’ll probably continue, I’m in the mood for some Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 as well, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 will likely dominate the rest of my time.
